A beautifully done film. The voice over gave fluid visual translation of what it feels like to be searching for the right word's, instead of it evading you, it comes to your mind with incredible smoothness and force.

I've been missing my Film

The other day I shot a picture of some bird's flying out of the brush into a misty blue sky(simple) but touching. The photo was screaming hope, determination, joy, and deep thought. It wasn't until after a little editing work on my part that my photograph actually gave me all those wonderful feeling's... It was in that moment that I missed my Film. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my digital, but there is certain feeling that film brings to your subjects. Of course you can imitate it with a little editing, but being in an instant gratification sort of mood, so I ordered me a new Holgamod. I love these fun camera's! I had almost forgotten how much I really heart Film...

By the way, I probably ran to the door a total of 3 times while writing this blog hoping against hope that Mr. UPS man would be standing there waiting to hand me my new camera addition...

Am I saying Bye Bye to digital?? should I bust out the Nikon F5 again?? Hmmm, I think digital and film should just be friends don't you?

I'm sure there are those of who who can't believe the blasphemies that just came out of my mouth, Film and Digital FRIENDS?? I'm just sayin, can't we all just get along :D ?

My good friend Kara and I went to see 'The Time Travelers Wife' the other day. I read the book about a million years ago and had completely forgotten what happened. It's definitely one of those movies that touches you, at one point in the movie the theater was silent except for the sniffles from almost everyone fighting back tears... but failing miserably. It just gets you, it was filled with that kind of love that's so real (aka not perfect), but you still can't live without it kinda love??

A must see, bring a tissue.

I've gotten a few questions lately on my pricing. Here is a mini break down (get the full pricing on my website here)

THE FAMILY SESSION

Sitting up to 6 people. The session is limited to 2 hour’s. Fee’s for each additional person, extra time will be allotted for groups larger than 6. Unlimited groupings beyond the obvious large group, until each person/sub-group is covered sufficiently.

* For sessions taking place on a Holiday please add $250

* $25 per additional person after 6 people.

8x10 Custom Print

PORTRAITS

2 (give or take) hour sitting for one individual

To reserve your session a, $100.00 retainer is due at the time of booking all other monies including travel fee's (if applicable) is due at the day of the shoot.

Travel Fee's are applicable outside of Orange County.
