So my most recent project was to depict one 'Haptic' and one 'Visual' photograph. Haptic, meaning to produce a photographic image that is more subjective, abstract expression, and unconcerned with realistic representation. Visual, pertaining to what we immediately see, no manipulations done with that camera, such as extreme angles or wide apertures. I struggled with the latter until I stumbled across this little beauty lying in the grass.
I was super nervous to print them, and have them critiqued by my fellow students in class. But when one of the guys grabbed my name out of the stack he promptly stated, "YES! finally I get work that I like." That put me at ease :D, Its always encouraging to hear things like that.
